Dr Abel Yeboah-Ofori is a Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security at the University of West London, School Computing and Engineering UK. He obtained his PhD in Cyber Security. He has previously lectured at the University of East London and other universities in the last 11 years in Computer Science, Cyber Security and Digital Forensics Subject Areas.
Abel is a consultant, Certified Cyber Security and Digital Forensics Investigations Practitioner, and Certified Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner.
He was invited to a Commonwealth Cybercrime Initiated Conference 2013. In addition, Abel participated in Cyber Security Maturity Assessment Program with the Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre, USA, Oxford University, and World Bank. He was invited to the Advisory & Review Workshop for National Cyber Security Policy & Strategy by MoC & Council of Europe (CoE) as part of GLACY+ activities and invited to a Stakeholders Strategic Management Workshop on Child Online Protection. In 2020, He was invited to present at Africa Global Intelligence and Security Institute (Afgisi). In 2021, Abel was invited by the Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGPP) UK to present at a Conference on Combatting Public Sector Fraud to prevent the Implication of the Economic Downturn. The expert panel includes the UK National Fraud Authority and the Department of Works and Pension. (Virtual Event)
In December 2021, he organized a Conference on Cybersecurity, AI and Industry 4.0 at the University of West London. The theme of the conference was: Developing Cyber Security Competencies and expertise in the fight against Cyber Threats.
